## About the Role

* Strong Databricks and cloud data platform experience
 * Expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Python.
 * Knowledge of data modelling and ETL/ELT best practices.
 * Experience migrating Oracle or legacy platforms.
 * Understanding of CI/CD, Git and orchestration tools.

## Description

We are looking for a talented Data Engineer (AVP) to join our development team in London. This role will help drive our migration from a legacy Oracle environment to a modern cloud-based data platform powered by Databricks.

What You'll Be Doing

 * Design, develop and enhance Data Marts using Databricks, SQL and Python.
 * Build scalable,reliable and high-performing data pipelines.
 * Support Oracle-to-cloud migration initiatives.
 * Collaborate with architects, DBAs and business stakeholders.
 * Drive automation, monitoring and operational excellence.
