## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience with IBM Cognos Analytics / Cognos BI.
 * Experience with Cognos Report Studio and Framework Manager.
 * Strong SQL development experience.
 * Experience working with relational databases and data warehouse environments.
 * Experience developing complex reports, dashboards, prompts, filters, and drill-through functionality.
 * Strong understanding of data modeling, reporting structures, and business intelligence concepts.
 * Experience with report performance tuning and troubleshooting.
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Cognos Analytics 11.x.
 * Experience with Cognos Administration and report deployment.
 * Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
 * Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or other enterprise databases.
 * Familiarity with other BI and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
 * Experience working in large enterprise or financial services environments.
 * Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
