## About the Role

* An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required. Last Poly within past 7 years.
 * Level 2:
 + BS + 14 years experience
 * Level 3:
 + BS + 20 years experience
 * Solid experience with Python required.
 * Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as [e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.].
 * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
 * Solid understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.

## Description

The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications. This role involves handling complex tasks with minimal supervision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior engineers. This position requires a strong grasp of software development methodologies, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable software solutions., * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern software engineering principles and best practices.

 * Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
 * Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with other team members.
 * Debug and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
 * Work to continuously improve the development process, tools, and overall software reliability.
 * Lead the design and architecture of complex software systems, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth.
 * Determine the root cause for complex software issues and develop practical, long-term solutions.
 * Drive and influence technical decisions, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the product and engineering team.
 * Evaluate and make recommendations on new technologies and best practices.
 * Will support the transition to cloud capability.
