This role defines canonical data models, integration patterns, and governance standards that enable analytics, Customer 360, marketing activation, and AI/ML initiatives across the organization. Serving as the architectural authority across all data engineering PODs, the Data Architect ensures that solutions built by internal teams, offshore partners, and vendors conform to a coherent, scalable, and cost-efficient enterprise design., * Establish and maintain the target-state architecture for the Snowflake data platform (lakehouse patterns, medallion layering, schema design, naming conventions), and ensure all POD-level development conforms to these standards. * Enable AI/ML and advanced analytics foundations. * Optimize platform cost, performance, and scalability. * Define ingestion, CDC, ETL, and API patterns connecting Snowflake with multiple source and target systems. * Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks. Knowledge & Skills: * Scope: The Data Architect operates with broad independent authority over enterprise data design decisions, including approval of data models, integration patterns, and platform standards across all data engineering PODs.
