## About the Role

The client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team of innovators in driving advancements in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for software development teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps best practices and experience with GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other related technologies. This individual will play a key role in modernizing our software development processes and infrastructure to achieve greater automation, scalability, and efficiency.

The selected candidate must be a U.S. Citizen, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

 * Proven experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role
 * Strong understanding of GitLab, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and other relevant tools and technologies
 * Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
 * Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
 * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams, researchers, and faculty.
 * Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) a plus.
 * 5 years of relevant working experience .

## Description

Stabilis Professional Services is looking for a DevOps Engineer for a contract position with a client. This is a Remote role., * Collaborate with software development teams to understand current processes and identify areas for CI/CD implementation and improvement

 * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multiple software projects

 * Automate deployment processes to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of software updates

 * Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance and scalability

 * Work with development teams to troubleshoot build and deployment issues

 * Stay updated on industry best practices and technology advancements to continuously improve our CI/CD capabilities
