## About the Role

+ Hands-on experience in a DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or security engineering role
 + Working knowledge of AWS (Glue, MWAA/Airflow, EMR, S3, Lambda, Athena, or similar services)
 + Experience with CI/CD infrastructure as code tooling such as Ansible or Terrasform
 + Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
 + Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
 + Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 + Ability to work closely with an entirely remote team
 + U.S. citizenship, with no dual citizenship, required (federal contract eligibility requirement)
 + Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust designation

Bonus Skills

 + AWS certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security specialty)
 + Experience with data quality or observability tooling
 + Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture principles

## Description

+ Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a large portfolio of data engineering workloads
 + Manage infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform, or similar) across AWS environments
 + Support Authority to Operate (ATO) activities
 + Monitor pipeline health, set up alerting, and help troubleshoot production incidents
 + Harden environments against security findings and support vulnerability remediation
 + Partner with data engineers to bake security and reliability into new pipeline builds from day one
 + Contribute to the team's evolving DevSecOps standards and documentation
 + Support access management and authentication/authorization configuration (e.g., EntraID, Ranger, or similar)
