The Technology Manager has personal responsibility for the coaching and career development of direct reports, takes responsibility for eliminating career impediments, and actively evolving the systems in which all knowledge workers operate. What you will do: * Participate in platform resource management process to establish the best assignment of individuals to teams * Ensure employees receive annual evaluations, one-one-one meetings and overall training and development needs are met * Lead the interview team and efforts and initiates hiring decisions for all positions * Provide leadership and guidance for the employees on the team. Act as a mentor and trainer as needed. * Help establish mission and purpose for the teams under supervision * Build functional and technical competencies that enhance the development capabilities of the team and that align to the objectives of the team * Continuously assists in aligning teams to the business and program mission * Coach the improvement of agile technical practices.
