In this role, you will play a critical part in integrating security practices into our development and operations workflows, ensuring the protection of our most sensitive systems and communications. You will work at the intersection of security, software development, and infrastructure - helping to build and maintain secure, reliable systems that support Blue Origin's mission. Who You'll Work With You will collaborate closely with: * Cybersecurityteams to define and enforce security policies and standards * Software Developersto embed security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) * Site Reliability Engineers (SREs)to ensure secure, stable, and scalable operations Responsibilities * Design, implement, and maintain secure DevOps pipelines and infrastructure * Integrate automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows * Support COMSEC operations by ensuring secure communication systems and tools meet applicable standards * Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across development and production environments * Enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices across engineering teams * Monitor systems for security threats and respond to incidents in collaboration with Cybersecurity teams * Partner with SREs to build resilient, security-hardened infrastructure * Ensure compliance with relevant government and industry security frameworks and regulations, Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S.as a refugee or granted asylum.
