This position requires a hands on builder who takes solutions from idea to production. This role requires expert-level understanding of the Power Apps internal runtime model, Dataverse schema design, and PowerFx-based execution patterns. You'll act as a Product Owner: gathering requirements, translating them into solutions, and communicating progress and decisions clearly to leadership. This position requires the ability to work onsite 5 days/week at one of our locations in Rockville, MD, Frederick MD, or Tysons, VA., Architect and implement Power Apps solutions, primarily model-driven apps, that integrate seamlessly with Microsoft Dataverse, Azure services, and external APIs through standard and custom connectors. Act as a Platform Owner through defining requirements, prioritizing features, managing stakeholder expectations, and driving solutions from concept to delivery. Lead design of model-driven and canvas apps, governing solution layering, environment strategy, ALM pipelines, and dependency management across Dev, Test, and Prod environments. Develop and maintain reusable Power Apps components, including PowerApps Component Framework (PCF) controls and custom connectors, packaged and deployed via solution manifests. Oversee low-code application lifecycle management using Azure DevOps and Power Platform Build Tools, including source control of exported app JSON schemas and solution XMLs. Implement PowerFx-based logic, governance policies, and performance instrumentation across Power Platform environments. Present architectural decisions, project status, and technology recommendations clearly and confidently to leadership Collaborate with enterprise security and cloud teams to enforce compliance, data protection, and least-privilege design within Azure AD and Dataverse. Guide developers in understanding internal Power Platform operations - including metadata-driven compilation, connector resolution, PowerFx expression evaluation, and runtime sandboxing within Azure Functions.
