## Description

The Network Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining the stability, performance, and security of Ardent's network infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for working outages, deploying new network hardware, and troubleshooting complex network problems., * Utilizes network monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential performance bottlenecks, security risks, and network outages

 * Responds promptly to network incidents and outages, conducting thorough investigations to identifies root causes and implement effective solutions
 * Collaborates with other IT teams to resolve issues that span multiple infrastructure components
 * Maintains accurate network diagrams, configurations, and documentation
 * Troubleshoots LAN and WAN service issues on Cisco, Meraki, and Fortinet platforms
 * Configures switching platforms, Cisco 3750x, 9200 and 9300, Cisco Nexus, Fortiswitch
 * Configuration of routing platforms, Cisco ASR and ISR, Fortigate, Meraki
 * Installation of network hardware
 * Activation of leased WAN circuits
 * Participates in daily team meetings and various project meetings
 * Creates and reviews change scripts
 * Works with security team to mitigate active threats
