The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting low-level system applications, network services, and security-focused solutions in a complex enterprise environment., Develop, maintain, and optimize system-level applications on Unix/Linux platforms using C. Design and implement network programming solutions utilizing sockets, IPC, and other communication protocols. Create and maintain automation scripts and system utilities using Perl. Analyze and troubleshoot operating system, application, and network-related issues. Implement secure coding practices and promote defensive programming methodologies. Support authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Kerberos integration. Monitor system performance and recommend tuning and optimization improvements. Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability and security. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Korn Shell). Exposure to multi-threaded and concurrent programming. Knowledge of Linux security controls and identity management solutions.
