This position will perform advanced, senior-level business analysis work. The business analyst serves as the conduit between the program/customer community and the software development team through which requirements flow. The BA will be involved throughout the entire software development life cycle. Upon establishment of the requirements baseline, the focus shifts toward managing the requirements specification and verifying the fulfillment of all requirements, including enhancements post-implementation. Essential Functions: * Elicitation & Analysis: Analyzes user needs, business processes, pain points, and system capabilities to automate or improve existing systems. Elicits requirements using JAD sessions, interviews, document analysis, surveys, use cases, competitive product analysis, and workflow analysis. * Requirements Writing & Visual Output: Transforms elicited information into business and functional requirements, use cases, user stories, software requirements specifications, wireframes, and mockups.
