Preferred: * Experience with Unreal Engine 5. * Experience with C++ obtained through coursework, internships, or personal projects. * Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. * Familiarity with Unreal Engine through academic, internship, or personal development experience. * Experience developing Unreal Engine projects using C++ and Blueprints. * Coursework or project experience involving simulations, graphics programming, or game development. * Familiarity with software integration concepts and networking fundamentals. * Familiarity with 3D mathematics, coordinate systems, and physics concepts. * Experience using Git or other version control tools. * Active Security Clearance Skills * Game Devlopment, simulation development or related technical skills * Strong technical communication and problem-solving skills. * ## Description Electric Boat is seeking an entry-level software developer to support the development of interactive engineering simulations using Unreal Engine. The selected candidate will develop Unreal Engine applications that provide visual and behavioral representations of shipboard systems and environments. Working alongside experienced engineers, the candidate will integrate simulation models and contribute to reusable simulation components supporting multiple engineering projects.
