This role owns the strategic evolution from on-premises data centers to multi-cloud (AWS & Azure), including the decommissioning of legacy facilities, cloud migration infrastructure readiness, and establishment of cloud-native network capabilties. The role holds direct accountability for vendor and cloud consumption portfolio, manages engineers, and requires cross-functional program governance across multiple organizational boundaries. This leader will drive complex, multi-year infrastructure transformation while maintaining operational excellence for production systems and ensuring the organization successfully transitions to a product delivery model.
