In this role, you will tackle real, identified friction points in the application-redesigning flows, rethinking interactions, and systematically reducing the cumbersome aspects of the tool that slow users down. What You'll Do * Audit and evaluate existing UX problems across the application, identifying the highest-impact areas of friction for users. * Redesign and re-implement UX elements and user flows to reduce complexity and improve overall usability. * Translate team-identified UX issues into concrete design solutions, from low-fidelity concepts through final specs. * Partner closely with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently, including hands-on pairing during build-out. * Collaborate with the product team to prioritize UX improvements alongside broader product goals. * Establish and iterate on design patterns that promote consistency and ease of use throughout the product. * Solicit and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously refine the experience., * The team. Wide expertise, sharp, low ego, and genuinely fun to work with. We have each other's backs and we celebrate wins together. * Real ownership and impact from day one. Our customers make million-dollar decisions on our platform. Your work matters immediately. * AI-native product and AI-native workflows. Every team - engineering, sales, operations - runs on AI tooling daily. * Founder-led transparency. Leadership shares the financials, the strategy, and the hard calls with the whole team. * High growth, high demand. The product works, customers love it, and we are hiring to keep up. No shortage of opportunity here. * Flexibility. Remote, hybrid, or in-office with a great Portland, OR headquarters. * Self-starters who thrive in ambiguity. We're a startup. If you need someone to tell you what to do every morning, this isn't the place; if you come alive solving hard problems with smart people, it is. ## Related Videos - [Building Collaborative Open Source tools for Developers and Designers - Pablo Ruiz-Muzquiz from Penpot](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1345-building-collaborative-open-source-tools-for-developers-and-designers-pablo-ruiz-muzquiz-from-penpot) - [UX is a fullstack job!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1020-ux-is-a-fullstack-job) - [Boost Productivity with AI: Figma & Playwright MCP Workflows - Aris Markogiannakis](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1768-boost-productivity-with-ai-figma-playwright-mcp-workflows-aris-markogiannakis) - [Designing for Every Direction: Logical CSS for Global, Adaptive, and Effortlessly Reversible UIs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2026-designing-for-every-direction-logical-css-for-global-adaptive-and-effortlessly-reversible-uis) - [Fireside Chat with Kris Rasmussen, CTO at Figma](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/982-fireside-chat-with-kris-rasmussen-cto-at-figma) - [Designing the Future of Human<>Agent Collaboration](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1447-designing-the-future-of-human-agent-collaboration) ## Related Articles - [The future is here: How artificial intelligence is influencing UX design](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/65-the-future-is-here-how-artificial-intelligence-is-influencing-ux-design) - [10 Essential Figma Plugins for Frontend Developers in 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/262-10-essential-figma-plugins-for-frontend-developers-in-2023) - [Top 5 Web Design Trends for 2023](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/155-top-5-web-design-trends-for-2023) - [16 Best Free React UI Libraries in 2025](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/148-16-best-free-react-ui-libraries-in-2025) - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 120 - Apple and peers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/455-dev-digest-120-apple-and-peers)
