Advanced degree may be preferred. * 8+ years of related professional systems engineering experience. * * Advanced knowledge in the systems engineering discipline; recognized as a subject matter expert. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to clearly present technical concepts. * * Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and perform in a lead engineering capacity. * Ability to plan, assign, and supervise the work of other engineers. * Knowledge of system architecture design, requirements analysis, modeling tools, and capability development. * Strong attention to detail with a focus on system quality and mission success. Desired/Preferred Skills: * Experience identifying new system capabilities, technical enhancements, and concept demonstrators for emerging mission needs. * Experience supporting system integration, modernization, and lifecycle engineering in enterprise or mission-critical environments. * Ability to interface with senior technical leadership and provide expert guidance aligned with a senior-level engineering role., May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs.
