Monitor database health, performance, and availability. Perform database performance tuning and query optimization. Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies. Manage database security, user access, roles, and privileges. Troubleshoot database issues, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis. Implement database patches, fixes, and version upgrades. Support database replication, clustering, and high-availability configurations. Work closely with application developers to optimize SQL queries and database design. Automate routine DBA tasks using shell scripting or PowerShell. Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
