Preference given to candidates with experience in: + CompTIAA+, CompTIANetwork, CompTIASecurity. + Experience working in an Information Technology (IT) environment in either a field-based support capacity or a call center capacity. + Experience with email systems. + Experience working with ticketing system applications. + Experience working in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment. + College or trade school education in IT field from an accredited college or university, or 30 semester credit hours to substitute for year-for-year work experience. School diploma or official transcript documents are required. ## Description This is an IT Desktop Support position that primarily provides hardware and software support to multiple end-users within the DCF, which includes desktop, infrastructure and security. This is work installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet system or a segment of a network system. Incumbents maintain network hardware and software, monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. Incumbents may also assist other network support and client server specialists to plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.
