Bonus points include deep subject-matter expertise in transmission, acquisition, or broadcast operations technology within a 24/7 media environment; experience managing vendor service-level agreements, telecom services, security reviews, or technology onboarding; and familiarity with streaming video workflows and the intersection of traditional broadcast and IP-based distribution. ## Description Versant is seeking a Transmission Technology Manager to manage the technology, tools, and vendor solutions that support Transmission and Acquisition operations across our broadcast environment. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Production, Network Engineering, Broadcast Distribution, external partners, and vendors to support reliable live-to-air operations while identifying, implementing, and maintaining emerging broadcast technologies. Why This Role Matters: This role is critical to keeping Versant's transmission infrastructure reliable, scalable, and prepared for the future. By managing operational technology, vendor relationships, equipment upgrades, and proof-of-concept initiatives, this person will help ensure the continuity and quality of audio, video, and data delivery across a fast-moving media environment. This role is required to work on-site at Versant's New Jersey office.
