* Strong SQL skills for querying risk and compliance data from source systems and BI datasets.
 * Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills (e.g., Excel) for interim mechanisms, normalization, and scenario analysis.
 * Hands-on experience with BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
 * Ability to design and implement repeatable dashboards, KPI/KRI views, and drill-down reports.

## Description

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to enhance and maintain existing reporting structures. This role will focus on improving data quality, standardizing metric calculations, and developing new dashboards and reporting capabilities. The position is project-oriented, supporting a transition to new GRC platforms and ensuring reporting continuity while establishing a stable, well-documented analytics layer for future use., * Enhance and maintain reporting within existing BI suites, including data quality reviews.

 * Standardize and document Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and metric calculations.
 * Develop new dashboards, trend analyses, and operational reports for leadership review.
 * Support the transition of data to new Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms.
 * Document queries, dashboard logic, and metric definitions.
 * Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and playbooks for future state operations.
 * Create an inventory and rationalization of current spreadsheets, datasets, and reports.
 * Maintain a stable, well-documented analytics layer for handover to future employees.
