## About the Role

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, will have the following key skills:

 * Strong embedded C and/or C++ development experience
 * Experience with RTOS, bare-metal development and ARM Cortex processors
 * Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS and network-connected embedded systems
 * Experience with low-level interfaces including SPI, I2C, UART and DMA
 * Strong debugging, problem-solving and technical communication skills

## Description

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Newark-on-Trent, Nottinghamshire, will be expected to take a leading role in embedded software development, working across the full product lifecycle while collaborating with hardware, firmware, test and compliance teams., * Designing and developing embedded software in C/C++ for real-time systems

 * Developing secure network-connected products using TCP/IP, HTTP/S and TLS
 * Writing, testing and maintaining production-quality embedded software
 * Supporting cybersecurity, compliance and secure product development
 * Working with RTOS and low-level device drivers for ARM-based platforms
 * Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver new products
 * Supporting debugging, technical reviews and continuous product improvements
