## About the Role

* Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), QA Automation Engineer or similar role.
 * Strong hands-on experience developing automated tests using Python 3.13+.
 * Experience testing containerised applications using Docker.
 * Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks such as PyTest, Playwright, Selenium or Robot Framework.
 * Experience testing APIs, user interfaces, integration points and microservices.
 * Experience integrating automated testing into GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms.
 * Experience working alongside security teams to automate security testing within delivery pipelines.
 * Familiarity with Git and requirements/test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence or TestRail.

Desirable skills

 * Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm and ArgoCD.
 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
 * Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
 * Familiarity with compliance and security frameworks including ISO 27001 or NIST.
 * Experience with performance and load testing tools.
