## About the Role

* Master- oder Diplomabschluss in Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
 * Mehr als drei Jahre Berufserfahrung in IT oder Informationssystemen
 * Tiefe und sichere Praxiserfahrung in der Administration von VMware-vSphere- und Nutanix-Umgebungen ist erforderlich
 * Erfahrung mit physischer HPE-Server-Hardware, z. B. Hardwaretausch, Serverwartung und Firmware-Updates, ist zwingend erforderlich
 * Nachweisbare Erfahrung in einer nach ITIL organisierten Umgebung mit Incident-, Problem- und Change-Management ist verpflichtend; Systemausfälle müssen eigenständig analysiert und eskaliert werden können
 * Erfahrung mit ITIL-Prozessen, z. B. der Bearbeitung von Change Requests oder Major Incidents, ist erforderlich
 * Bereitschaft zur Rufbereitschaft wird vorausgesetzt
 * Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse sowie eine teamorientierte Arbeitsweise

## Description

* Bereitstellung neuer Softwarepakete und Upgrades sowie Sicherstellung des operativen Infrastrukturzustands gemäß OLA und SLA
 * Überwachung der Systemleistung anhand vereinbarter Service Level Agreements sowie Kommunikation von Verbesserungen, Aktualisierungen und Obsoleszenzthemen an das IT-Produktmanagement
 * Durchführung ITIL-basierter Supportprozesse einschließlich Incident-, Problem-, Change-, Configuration- und Event-Management
 * Analyse von Konsolenmeldungen und Systemausfällen, Einleitung von Korrekturmaßnahmen sowie bedarfsgerechte Eskalation an technische Teams und Hersteller
 * Überwachung der Systemdatensicherung und Leitung von Disaster-Recovery-Tests
 * Identifikation und Umsetzung von Technologien und Prozessen zur Verbesserung von Zuverlässigkeit, Effizienz und Verfügbarkeit der Systemumgebung
