Nice to have: * Strong personal or side projects demonstrating deep technical ability. * Degree from a top-tier Computer Science program. Not a fit if you: * Have only worked at large, slow-moving enterprises. * Have only maintained existing systems, with no 0-to-1 build experience. * Have no hands-on AI/LLM experience beyond basic API calls. * Come from a purely back-office or internal tooling background. ## Description You'll work in a customer-facing, 0-to-1 environment - solving live problems directly with customers rather than working through a ticket queue. This is for engineers who want to own outcomes end-to-end, not just ship to spec. What You'll Do * Partner directly with customers to scope, build, and ship solutions from 0 to 1. * Build, fine-tune, or deploy LLMs as part of real product workflows - not just wrap an API. * Move fluidly between engineering and customer problem-solving, prioritizing live impact over backlog grooming. ## Related Videos - [Web APIs you might not know about](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/281-web-apis-you-might-not-know-about) - [Practical performance tuning for Serverless Java on AWS](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2075-practical-performance-tuning-for-serverless-java-on-aws) - [Creating Industry ready solutions with LLM Models](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/899-creating-industry-ready-solutions-with-llm-models) - [The Intent Engineer: Closing the Gap Between Business & Engineering - Manuel Klein](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1855-the-intent-engineer-closing-the-gap-between-business-engineering-manuel-klein) - [Project Fugu: Extending the web](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/832-project-fugu-extending-the-web) - [Shipping Faster with Less: Render on Cloud Hosting, AI Workloads, and the Future of DevOps](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1894-shipping-faster-with-less-render-on-cloud-hosting-ai-workloads-and-the-future-of-devops) ## Related Articles - [What Are Large Language Models?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/304-what-are-large-language-models) - [Fully Remote Software Engineer Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/447-fully-remote-software-engineer-jobs) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Where To Find Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/396-where-to-find-software-engineering-jobs) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Is Software Engineering Over-Saturated?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/418-is-software-engineering-over-saturated)
