## About the Role

* 5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix administration (RHEL/CentOS/OEL preferred).
 * Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, including observability, orchestration, containerization, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and configuration management.
 * 3+ years of experience leading a technology team, ideally in infrastructure support.
 * Exceptional verbal, written, and organizational skills.
 * Strong customer service orientation and strategic mindset.
 * Excellent analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
 * Working knowledge of storage protocols (NFS, GPFS a plus).
 * Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
 * Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, multicast, tcpdump, PTP, NTP).
 * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
 * ITIL knowledge is a plus.

## Description

Squarepoint is seeking a hands-on Trading Infrastructure Support (TIS) Tech Lead to manage a global TIS team. The candidate will lead a team of support specialist, ensuring high availability of Squarepoint's mission-critical infrastructure, systems, and platform application services across APAC, EMEA, and AMER regions.

 * Manage a 24x5 global support schedule and weekend on-call rotation.
 * Define policies, processes, roadmaps, and best practices to meet SLAs and scale with business needs.
 * Collaborate with service teams to build automation, self-service tools, and runbooks. Ensure the team is trained, skilled, and empowered to remove blockers and inefficiencies.
 * Proactively identify and eliminate inefficiencies across workflows and operations.
 * Lead and coordinate technical efforts across the global support team.
 * Stay hands-on with troubleshooting and lead major outage recovery efforts to minimize impact.
