## About the Role

* Strong commercial experience with JavaScript / TypeScript
 * Expertise with Node.js and React
 * Extensive full-stack software engineering experience
 * Experience designing and building microservices architectures
 * Strong knowledge of AWS or other cloud-native platforms
 * Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
 * Solid understanding of testing practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD)
 * Experience optimising application performance and scalability
 * Strong architectural and technical documentation skills (e.g. ADRs, C4 Model)

Desirable
Experience with one or more of the following:

 * Go (Golang)

 * Rust

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Staff Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join a high-performing engineering team.

This is a senior individual contributor position for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while remaining hands-on with development. You'll collaborate closely with Product, Design, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to design, build, and scale a sophisticated cloud-native platform.

You'll play a key role in shaping technical direction, influencing architecture, mentoring other engineers, and delivering high-quality software across the full technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, build, and deliver scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
 * Develop secure, reliable, and high-performance software solutions
 * Architect and implement cloud-native services and distributed systems
 * Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused features
 * Drive improvements in application performance, scalability, reliability, and security
 * Own complex technical initiatives from design through to deployment
 * Review code, champion engineering best practices, and maintain high quality standards
 * Contribute to system architecture, technical documentation, and long-term technical strategy
 * Mentor engineers and support continuous improvement across development processes
 * Help evolve cloud infrastructure, microservices, and platform capabilities
