## About the Role

* Seeking a candidate to perform computer systems administration in a fast-paced semiconductor test floor environment.
 * This is primarily a Linux administration role however experience with Windows and networking is also required.
 * Candidate must work closely with semiconductor test engineers and automated test equipment (ATE) operators to ensure maximum efficiency for 24x7 operations and to troubleshoot a variety of IT-related issues.
 * Assigned responsibilities include Linux/Windows application installation and upgrades, Linux OS upgrades, host-level network setup, and configuring access to network-attached storage.
 * Frequent on-site work at lab locations in Fremont and Santa Clara is required., * Proficient with CentOS and RedHat 5/7/8 Linux OS installation, configuration, and system management on workstation and server hardware
 * Proficient with Windows XP, 7, and 10 usage and troubleshooting on laptop and workstation hardware
 * Working knowledge and experience with VMWare and KVM hypervisor environments
 * Working Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NFS, LDAP, SSH, Apache, autofs
 * Experience with Linux and Windows based Application installation and configuration and management
 * Working knowledge of license management using FlexNet and similar licensing tools
 * Experience with printer management in Windows and Linux environments
 * Experience with writing and troubleshooting task automation scripts on Windows and Linux OS
 * Experience using ansible for managing multiple servers
 * Proficient with computer networking and endpoint troubleshooting
 * Able to communicate effectively with end users, ATE vendors, and other IT specialists for troubleshooting of complex issues relating to test equipment operations

Desired Skills

 * Experience with Verigy 93K and Teradyne Test platform applications
 * Experience with Advantest & Teradyne diagnostic and calibration protocol
 * Knowledge of Linux containers and orchestration
