This role will contribute to maintenance initiatives, system upgrades, integrations, and new development projects while working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other IT professionals. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with GenTax, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, and API development, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills., * Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain solutions within the GenTax system using C# and SQL. * Develop advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, and database solutions to support business and application requirements. * Design, develop, consume, and maintain SOAP and RESTful API services and system integrations. * Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical requirements and solutions. * Participate in system analysis, workflow design, process modeling, and technical solution development. * Support GenTax maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and new development initiatives. * Troubleshoot and resolve production issues involving application functionality, performance, data, and integration points. * Analyze complex technical problems, identify potential areas of risk, and recommend effective solutions. * Conduct code reviews and ensure development follows established coding standards, architecture principles, and best practices. * Collaborate with business analysts, developers, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. * Assist with data conversion and migration activities associated with GenTax software upgrades. * Evaluate new technologies and industry trends and recommend improvements that enhance system performance, reliability, maintainability, and functionality. * Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to developers and other IT team members. * Work independently on complex assignments while contributing effectively within a collaborative development team., The Senior Developer will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing solutions within the GenTax commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platform.
