You care about what you deliver and own your mistakes. ## Description This is a unique opportunity to work at the cutting-edge intersection of high-performance AI and confidential computing. You won't just be building another backend; you will be architecting the future of secure intelligence. In this role, you'll help solve the industry's most pressing challenge: how to run powerful AI models while maintaining absolute cryptographic certainty and data isolation. Joining our team means pushing the boundaries of what's possible in Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs) and ensuring that the next generation of enterprise AI is secure by design. We are looking for an innovative Software Engineer to be the master weaver of our secure AI ecosystem. Rather than just following a manual, you will take ownership of the cross-layer integration and microservices architecture that makes our highly secure inference platform a reality. You will lead the charge in wiring complex multi-module backends and establishing the resilient endpoints that our customers depend on. Your mission is to implement sophisticated attestation-gated mechanisms, safeguarding critical model weights and execution boundaries within hardware-enforced environments. This is your chance to turn complex security protocols into seamless, high-performance reality., + Multi-Module & Application Integration: Program and stabilize core microservices, bridging backend data pipelines with advanced containerized inference runtimes to ensure seamless data flow. + Secure Endpoint Development: Design, expose, and optimize stable APIs for protected model ingestion, system lifecycle events, and inference requests. + Cryptographic Boundary Assembly: Integrate security sidecars and automated provisioning modules executing asymmetric decryption protocols (e.g., 4096-bit RSA) and cryptographic signature validation to facilitate attestation-gated asset release. + Network & Gateway Routing: Configure low-latency sidecar proxies and API gateways to maintain end-to-end encrypted pathways utilizing strict mutual authentication (mTLS). + Workload Orchestration: Maintain and update cloud-native application configurations (such as Helm charts) to orchestrate isolated container runtimes across distributed execution clusters., + Proactivity: You don't wait for someone to tell you what to do or what problems to solve. You are always looking for ways to learn and improve. + Excellence: You set a high bar and surpass expectations. You hit your goals and ask for more. + Humility: You are not above any task in the organization and are willing to drop what you're doing to help a teammate. What you can expect from us The team: Capacity team members enjoy the opportunity and benefits of working at an artificial intelligence startup, but with leaders who've worked at places like Apple, Ebay, Visa, Answers.com, Oracle, Boeing, and many more world-class companies. The culture at Capacity encourages innovation, independent problem solving, and collaboration as we continue to mature our product in the ever-changing world of AI. We provide: + Private health insurance (with the option, at the employee's expense, to add coverage for couple and children) + Company Profits Interest Units or Profits Interest Units Appreciation Rights eligibility + Flexible compensation options (i.e., meal voucher, transportation voucher, and childcare voucher) + Competitive time off and public holiday policies + A supportive, diverse workplace where we prioritize respect for each other and our clients + A fun, collaborative and growth-oriented team culture ## Related Videos - [Developing the Backend with Stefan Lingler, CTO at Shpock](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100360-developing-the-backend-with-stefan-lingler-cto-at-shpock) - [Creating a routing app with Google Maps API from scratch](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/831-creating-a-routing-app-with-google-maps-api-from-scratch) - [Understanding Kubernetes in a visual way](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100085-understanding-kubernetes-in-a-visual-way) - [AI Won't Fix Your Engineering Culture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100266-ai-won-t-fix-your-engineering-culture) - [Nest.js - TypeScript in the backend can also be clean](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1033-nest-js-typescript-in-the-backend-can-also-be-clean) - [The Software Engineer 2030: From Coder To AI Orchestrator? - Patrick Schnell](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1825-the-software-engineer-2030-from-coder-to-ai-orchestrator-patrick-schnell) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Stephan Gillich - Bringing AI Everywhere](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/489-stephan-gillich-bringing-ai-everywhere) - [What is Software Engineering in the Age of AI?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/640-what-is-software-engineering-in-the-age-of-ai) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [Transforming Software Development: The Role of AI and Developer Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/527-transforming-software-development-the-role-of-ai-and-developer-tools)
