## About the Role

* 8+ years of experience in advanced analytics, data science, or applied quantitative analysis (industry experience required).
 * Strong hands-on expertise in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).
 * Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B experiments and applying statistical methods to real-world product problems.
 * Experience building metrics end-to-end, including definitions, validation, and implementation in data pipelines.
 * Strong analytical judgment ability to balance rigor with speed and clearly communicate tradeoffs.
 * Demonstrated ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver against agreed timelines.
 * Strong stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into actionable insights.
 * Experience in marketplace, product analytics, or business strategy contexts strongly preferred.
 * Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics workflows is a plus.

## Description

* Own and deliver advanced analytics for defined product and business domains within the Host App and Marketing.
 * Work with large, complex datasets to answer high-priority business and product questions using statistical, causal, and exploratory techniques.
 * Design, execute, and analyze experiments (A/B tests and quasi-experiments) to measure feature impact and inform product iteration.
 * Develop and validate metrics and dimensions to monitor product performance and business outcomes.
 * Build and maintain analytical artifacts (queries, dashboards, readouts) that enable stakeholders to make informed decisions.
 * Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Data Science, and Analytics teams to align on methodology, assumptions, and interpretation.
 * Provide clear, concise insights and recommendations through written and verbal communication, including leadership-ready readouts.
 * Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to increase efficiency and automate repetitive analytical tasks where appropriate.
