## About the Role

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring.
Experience with Vert.x.
Strong experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
Experience with Git for source code management.
Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit or similar testing frameworks.
Experience developing applications utilizing WebSockets or other real-time communication technologies.
Strong understanding of object-oriented design, software architecture, and development best practices.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Experience working within Agile software development environments.

Our client, a global financial technology organization headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance APIs and backend services that power mission-critical, real-time applications used by internal platforms, customer-facing products, and external integrations. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications and APIs.
