## About the Role

+ Bachelor'sin Electrical EngineeringorElectrical-ComputerEngineering, plus:

 + 4 years related work experience OR Master's degreewith 2+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

 + Experience with **digital hardware design**

 + Experience with PCB design tools such as **Cadence OrCAD, Allegro, or Altium**

 + Experience working in complex hardware systems ormulti-boardarchitectures

 + Familiarity with regulated product development environments (medical device, aerospace, automotive, etc.)

 + Experience withcomponentlibraries orECAD library management

 + Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines and cross functional teams.

 + Strong troubleshooting skills in a lab environment

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

## Description

+ Lead the design, analysis, and troubleshooting of complex digital hardware and circuit boards

 + Driveboard designprojectsthrough completion, verification, and integration

 + Conduct hardware research, design, development, and testing of electrical components and systems

 + Develop technical specifications and ensure hardware reliability and performance

 + Analyze hardware configurations and verify designs meet system and regulatory requirements

 + Collaborate withcross-functionalpartners including systems engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing

 + Providehands-onlab support for prototypes, troubleshooting, and production hardware

Approximately **20% of this role** will focus on **component** **library management** , including:

 + Building schematic symbols and PCB footprints

 + Maintaining and improving the electricalcomponentlibrary forECAD tools

 + Ensuringcomponentdata integrity and standards compliance

 + Supporting efficient hardware development through library quality and reuse
