## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree
 * 5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience
 * 3+ years of experience with Public Cloud Platforms
 * 1+ years of experience with DevOps

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

 * Security+ Certified (or similar certification meeting DoD Directive 8140 Certification Requirements)

## Description

* Deployment & Integration: Orchestrate the installation and configuration of complex COTS packages (e.g. Engineering tools, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing Operations Management, and Enterprise Resource Planning application) on a cloud platform. Mature and optimize any local edge compute integration with the cloud.
 * Application Migration: Collaborating with subcontracted cloud teams, Boeing IT and application engineers to migrate applications deployed on-prem to the cloud.
 * Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain Terraform scripts to provision the specific compute, storage, and networking requirements mandated by COTS vendors.
 * Vendor & License Management: Collaborate with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to validate architecture, manage software licenses, and ensure internet egress for license checks complies with security firewalls.
 * Environment Standardization: Maintain consistency across dev, test, and production environments to prevent "configuration drift" in proprietary application stacks.
 * Performance Tuning: Optimize the underlying cloud resources to meet vendor-specified performance benchmarks.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Hazelwood, MO.

Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or internationally depending on business needs.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
