## About the Role

* Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
 * 10+ years relevant experience
 * Experience with developing and maintaining applications using Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and Oracle database objects, such as procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
 * Experience in UNIX
 * Must have COMPTIA Sec Preferred Qualifications:
 * Strong understanding and knowledge of Air Force Human Resource process
 * Understanding of EBS HCM functionality
 * Strong understanding of Oracle and Unix Programming

Clearance & Security Requirements

 * Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain public trust clearance suitability

Physical Requirements:

 * The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

## Description

* Maintain Reporting Instance (RI) Database
 * Mastery of writing complex queries, subqueries, joins, advanced PL/SQL development including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and custom type definitions.
 * Mastery of Unix knowledge and ability to modify and create Unix scripts.
 * Participate in Oracle Cloud migrations and mitigate issues identified.
 * Work with members of the software development team to coordinate Reporting Instance (RI) Database changes.
 * Maintain RI related dependencies and daily Refresh processes.
 * Prevent database bottlenecks and ensures rapid response times for mission-critical enterprise applications.
