Responsibilities + Become an expert in the proprietary software framework used for robot testing and automated lab workflows. + Debug and troubleshoot software issues using C# as the primary programming language. + Develop and implement new automated tests and solutions to enhance functionality, coverage, and efficiency. + Write, modify, and maintain C# code to fix bugs, improve stability, and introduce new features as needed. + Work independently on assigned projects while collaborating closely with developers, test engineers, and product owners to meet engineering goals. + Test hardware devices such as laptops and tablets, focusing on Touch/Pen, Keyboard/Touchpad, and Sensors subsystems. + Execute tests in Windows environments using both graphical user interfaces (GUI) and command line interfaces. + Use tools such as oscilloscopes and other test equipment to validate hardware and software behavior. + Identify, analyze, and resolve mechanical and software issues in robotic and hardware test applications. + Manage activities and deliver work with minimal supervision, ensuring tests are executed accurately and on schedule. + Collaborate with the team to report defects, track issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of test processes. + Work with ADO (Azure DevOps) work items to receive, track, and update assigned tasks and test activities., This role is based in a lab environment focused on testing hardware devices such as laptops and tablets, particularly the Touch/Pen, Keyboard/Touchpad, and Sensors subsystems.
