## About the Role

* 7+ years of hands-on Python experience (preferably using Flask and SQLAlchemy) building complex web applications.
 * Strong working knowledge of TypeScript (React) on the front end.
 * Solid experience with AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS), PostgreSQL, and Terraform.
 * Proven track record in a client-facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Lead).
 * Experience with microservices, API development, Linux/Bash, and Git mono-repos.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
 * HealthTech or Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) experience is a plus but not required.

## Description

* Build & Deploy: Write high throughput, serverless backend applications using Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy) on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS).
 * Lead Client Integrations: Work directly with client technical teams to define requirements, design custom API integrations, and execute secure data exchanges.
 * Database Architecture: Optimize complex PostgreSQL queries, data models, and indexing strategies to maintain high system performance.
 * Maintain Quality & Security: Write clean code, lead code reviews, manage infrastructure with Terraform, and maintain solid test coverage using Playwright.
 * Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with internal product managers, designers, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions on time.
