## About the Role

* Experience installing, configuring, and administering Sybase and Microsoft SQL Server databases in enterprise server environments.
 * Experience monitoring database system performance and implementing performance tuning measures for Sybase and SQL Server databases to ensure optimal availability and efficiency.
 * Experience managing and performing database maintenance activities, including database reorganizations, statistics updates, health checks, and optimization of Sybase and SQL Server databases.
 * Experience documenting database system configurations, operational procedures, maintenance processes, and troubleshooting guidelines for Sybase and SQL Server environments.
 * Experience planning and implementing database upgrades, version updates, and security patches for critical operational databases while maintaining system availability and stability.
 * Experience using ERwin Data Modeler to create, maintain, and update logical and physical data models for relational database environments.
 * Experience using Tableau and/or Cognos Analytics for data visualization, reporting, analytics, and business intelligence requirements.
 * Experience performing data migration and conversion activities across relational database environments, including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
