Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff, interface directly with IT staff for to resolve and document hardware and software troubleshooting tickets, bug reports and errors. Strong accuracy and attention to detail. Strong verbal, written, listening, and interviewing skills. Must be PC-proficient in a Windows environment. Able to utilize intranet and email, departmental software, phone, Credit Union's network, presentation software and data processing systems within area of responsibility. OTHER SKILLS: 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience. Depth of knowledge in Microsoft O365 services including Exchange, Intune, and Purview Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, or equivalent hypervisor. Strong knowledge of infrastructure systems, server operating systems, networking software, hardware, and networking protocols. Experience with scripting and automation tools. EXPERIENCE: Three to five years of similar or related experience. EDUCATION: (1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree). ## Description PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, networking equipment, security appliances, and virtualization environment. Manage, deploy, and configure hardware upgrades, software updates, security patches and other necessary items on an as-needed basis. Perform daily system monitoring to ensure data security, availability and integrity of required resources, and proper recording of application logs and reviews., Speaking on the telephone approximately 30% percent of workday. May need to shovel snow occasionally outside the office to clear sidewalks, etc. Continuous sitting, standing, talking, and listening for extended periods of time, use of hands in repetitive tasks such as typing and writing, speaking, and hearing for interaction with members and coworkers, clarity of vision at 20 inches or less for processing of member transactions and computer usage, and memory demands in recalling Credit Union policies, services, and state and federal regulations.
