They should be able to: · Lead production support operations while remaining technically hands-on. · Analyze production issues and drive resolution across multiple technical teams. · Understand enterprise application architecture and troubleshoot complex application issues. · Manage maintenance releases from planning through deployment support. · Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and effectively coordinate cross-functional teams. · Drive continuous improvement in production support processes, system stability, and operational excellence. ## Description We are looking for a highly experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Production Support (L2/L3) function for a large-scale Supply Chain application modernization program. This is a techno-managerial role that requires strong technical expertise, production support leadership, and stakeholder management skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications running in production. This role also involves managing maintenance releases, driving incident resolution, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality support services. The successful candidate should be comfortable switching between hands-on technical troubleshooting and leadership responsibilities while working closely with client stakeholders, development teams, architects, and offshore support teams., Production Support Leadership · Lead and manage the L2/L3 Production Support team for enterprise applications. · Own end-to-end production support operations, ensuring high application availability and reliability. · Serve as the primary point of contact for production incidents and critical support activities. · Coordinate onsite and offshore support teams to ensure timely issue resolution., · Monitor application health using enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, or similar platforms. · Analyze application logs, API failures, database transactions, and system performance issues. · Troubleshoot Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle, and REST API-related production issues. · Work closely with architects and engineering teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems. Release Management · Plan and manage maintenance releases for production applications. · Coordinate development, testing, UAT, defect resolution, and release activities. · Ensure successful execution of maintenance releases while minimizing business impact. · Track release progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
