 * CI/CD and GitHub-based development.
 * Government or public-sector modernization projects.

Mandatory Requirements:

 * Experience with water resources, environmental systems, scientific data, or related technical domains.
 * UX-centered application modernization experience using Agile methodologies.
 * Ability to provide your current hourly rate expectation and availability.

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Architect to lead the planning and architectural design of a next-generation water measurement data dashboard. This engagement focuses on solution architecture, UX modernization, integration strategy, implementation planning, and technology modernization. This is a planning and architecture role and does not involve production software development., * Lead discovery sessions and gather business and technical requirements.

 * Design solution architecture and define the technology roadmap.
 * Create modern, user-centered UX/UI designs and refine existing Figma mockups.
 * Develop application, integration, cloud, and security architecture.
 * Plan modernization strategies for legacy applications.
 * Define API integration, GIS architecture, and cloud deployment approaches.
 * Prepare implementation roadmaps, product backlogs, project schedules, and cost estimates.
 * Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer plans.
