Success in this role requires collaboration, adaptability, ownership, and a passion for advancing AI and data center technologies., * Experience in rack integration, system integration, NPI engineering, server platforms, AI/HPC systems, or data center hardware development. * Strong understanding of rack architectures, mechanical integration, cable management, serviceability, thermal design, airflow, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure. * Experience supporting prototype builds, deployment readiness, configuration management, and engineering change processes. * Hands-on experience with rack layouts, elevations, cable routing, assembly, and technical documentation. * Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, ODM, and partner organizations., * Bachelor's degree preferred in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Product Development Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. ## Description AMD is seeking a Senior Rack Integration Engineer to drive rack-level integration for next-generation AI and data center platforms. In this role, you will work at the intersection of hardware development, system validation, and deployment readiness, helping transform complex designs into fully integrated rack solutions. You will lead prototype and NPI rack builds, develop rack-level reference architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and partner teams to ensure solutions are scalable, serviceable, and ready for deployment. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to influence the design and delivery of leading-edge AI infrastructure from concept through release., * Lead rack-level integration for AI and data center platforms. * Develop and validate rack reference designs and configurations. * Plan and execute prototype and NPI rack builds. * Support system bring-up, validation, and design verification activities. * Drive resolution of cross-functional integration issues. * Provide technical guidance for rack assembly and configuration activities. * Create and maintain rack documentation, BOMs, and integration procedures. * Troubleshoot mechanical, thermal, power, networking, and serviceability issues. * Review engineering changes and configuration updates. * Participate in design, validation, and build readiness reviews., AMD may use Artificial Intelligence to help screen, assess or select applicants for this position.
