## About the Role

* Knowledge of surrounding technologies including design patterns and modern standards

 * Significant experience leading Salesforce platform delivery teams of developers, business analysts, QA and contractors

 * Significant UI delivery experience

 * Group insurance (VB, Life, Absence, Disability) industry experience preferred

 * Leadership skills to work effectively with peers within and across organizations

 * Understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies.

 * Strong written and interpersonal communication with the ability to deliver compelling presentations

 * Ability to manage and execute on multiple project timelines and manage competing priorities

 * Knowledge in a product operating model and experience in scaled agile environments

 * Ability to effectively manage a backlog of priorities from a diverse stakeholder group

 * Ability to lead and facilitate client discussions

 * Strong written and verbal communication skills across stakeholders, including customers, account management, senior leadership, and operational leadership

Education & Experience Required

 + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

 + 6+ years of relevant technical and business experience

 + 3+ years of managerial experience in a complex business environment involving multiple business issues

Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

## Description

* Guide the technical direction of the team, ensuring the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions

 * Oversee delivery, ensuring timelines are met, quality standards are maintained, and resources are efficiently utilized

 * Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and align the engineering team with business goals

 * Participation in and well-planned implementation of established quality improvement initiatives and processes

 * Measure the impact of your team and set clear expectations and goals

 * Partner with leadership to influence and drive org design, contribution and prioritization

 * Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies, and encourage the team to explore new tools, techniques, and best practices that can benefit the organization

 * Performs other duties as required
