Major Tasks and Responsibilities

 + Leads the design and implementation of enterprise data loss prevention and cloud access security strategies and technical roadmaps.

 + Oversees complex data protection investigations and coordinates cross-functional remediation efforts with legal and compliance partners.

 + Develops data discovery, classification, and protection programs across cloud and on-premises environments.

 + Integrates data protection telemetry into enterprise detection platforms and conducts proactive threat hunting focused on data exfiltration risks.

 + Establishes data protection policies, standards, and performance metrics and reports program effectiveness to senior leadership.

 + Evaluates encryption, data governance, and security monitoring technologies and leads vendor assessments and tool selection efforts.

 + Mentors data security analysts and facilitates training exercises to strengthen incident preparedness and response capabilities.
