Experience that would be great to have: + Deep low-level programming experience, including embedded systems development, MCU/ARM Cortex environments, RTOS, and advanced C scripting. + Prior tenure in the payments industry, specifically working directly with EMVco standards or navigating PCI/PTS compliance landscapes. ## Description Clover is a global leader in point-of-sale (POS) and financial technology, dedicated to building the smart terminal ecosystems that move money securely for millions of merchants daily. We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as our resident Level 2 payment kernel expert at our Sunnyvale, CA campus, driving the engineering and global certification of our hardware products. In this role, you will lead the architecture, testing, and continuous operation of the secure payment kernel infrastructure that interfaces directly with lower-level device components, Android OS platforms, and international test networks.
