The Draupal Application / 508 Accessibility and WCAG Q&A Engineer will evaluate, recommend, and apply accessibility policies and procedures on products and information technology. Additionally, this person will be responsible for validating the accessibility features enabled on these applications for visually impaired constituents. The selected candidate will support the development of other project artifacts and documentation such as progress reports, analytics, data collections, schedules, and presentations as necessary. Position Responsibilities · Provide policy and process support to the entire project team to develop, maintain, and improve accessibility compliance. · Conduct web accessibility testing to include: Semi-automated scans, manual reviews, keyboard only, and screen reader testing · Assess, analyze, and identify areas of concern for accessibility non-compliance of products as well as manage and resolve specific accessibility defects to resolution. · Support the Agile SCRUM team in analysis of business requirements and non-functional requirements to identify user story acceptance test criteria for accessibility compliance. · Develop compliance checklists, plans, and remediation actions as well as provide advice on mitigating or resolving issues.
