## About the Role

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.

 + 5+ years of software engineering experience with Python.

 + MUST be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

 + AWS Developer Certification (or equivalent AWS certification).

 + Strong experience developing applications in AWS cloud environments.

 + Hands-on experience with:

 + AWS Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS

 + EKS, ECS, S3, ALB

 + Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

 + Event-driven and serverless architectures

 + Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI preferred), and cloud deployment best practices.

 + Knowledge of data structures, API/schema design, and distributed systems.

Preferred:

 + Experience working within scientific, research, life sciences, or bioinformatics environments.

 + Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and GenAI technologies.

 + Experience with React, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, or Java.

 + Experience developing applications for high-performance computing (HPC).
