This role is responsible for preparing accurate quantity takeoffs, developing detailed cost estimates, analyzing subcontractor pricing, and supporting the preconstruction team throughout design and procurement. The Estimator helps establish the project's financial baseline through detailed analysis, market knowledge, and collaboration with project stakeholders. This is a technical role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of commercial construction costs. The Estimator develops estimates from evolving design information, refines pricing as the project progresses, and supports subcontractor procurement by evaluating bids and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
