* 3 5 years of experience in Database Administration
 * 3 5 years of hands-on experience with Sybase ASE and/or DB2
 * 3 5 years of experience supporting database/data center migrations
 * Strong understanding of database administration tasks, troubleshooting, performance analysis, SQL, database architecture, and upgrades/migrations
 * 3 5 years of experience with job scheduling tools (Autosys, cron, bash scripting)
 * Ability to follow and execute runbooks in a production environment
 * 3 5 years of experience working in Linux environments (primarily RHEL)
 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
 * Ability to prioritize effectively in a highly dynamic, globally-focused work environment

Nice-to-Have:

 * Exposure to additional databases (Oracle, Postgres, MSSQL, MongoDB)
 * Experience with large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments

## Description

We are seeking a Database Administrator to provide production support for multiple database platforms (Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, Sybase IQ, UDB DB2, Sybase Replication, Postgres, Hadoop, MSSQL, MongoDB, Oracle) infrastructure globally. This is a fully onsite role at our Salt Lake City office requiring flexibility for weekend shifts.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 * Provide alert resolution, provisioning activities, and support for user requests
 * Support database implementation, migrations, lifecycle upgrades, and capacity planning
 * Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams
