## About the Role

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 9+ years in cloud engineering, including hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms. Experience supporting government cloud environments is required.

Technical Skills:

 * Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
 * Practical experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
 * Strong familiarity with cloud security policies and tools, including encryption and IAM.
 * Expertise in Linux/Windows system administration within cloud environments.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
 * Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies with tools like JIRA., * Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
 * Additional security certifications like CISSP, CCSP, or Security+.
 * Experience in cloud-cost optimization (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer).
 * Competence with serverless architectures, microservices, or analytics platforms.
 * Knowledge of enterprise system integration (Active Directory, hybrid data platforms, HPC).

 * Support government cloud environments and apply a strong understanding of DevSecOps principles.
