This developer will play a key role in building and enhancing applications for a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system, working closely with development, DevOps, and external law enforcement stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong Java experience, enjoys modernizing legacy systems through microservices and containerization, and thrives in a mission-driven environment where secure, high-quality code directly supports public safety initiatives. Design, build, and modify application software using one or more programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and C# Use design patterns such as MVC, web services, SOA, and/or microservices Integrate COTS products, use APIs, and interact with data repositories.
